■作品解説 / Work description
5mmの厚みのある透明な蛍光グリーンのアクリル板に、人物の一部分が厚みと光沢のある質感になるようなUVプリントをしています。
アクリル板の透明感や、その上に絵の具・UV樹脂で加筆をしているのでこちらのマチエール表現もご覧いただけますと嬉しいです。

A 5mm-thick transparent fluorescent green acrylic plate is UV-printed so that a part of the person has a thick and glossy texture.
I would be happy if you could take a look at the matière expression of the translucency of the acrylic plate and the addition of paint and UV resin on top of it.
■作品の物語 / Story
今回の個展は一つの物語に関連した連作を制作してみました。
一つ一つの作品ごとのテーマはあるのですが、こういった試みは今回が初めてになります。
この絵に描かれた女の子を紹介してみようと思います。

週刊少年クロノスで連載された漫画「Eternal Liberator」に登場する◾️◾️◾️◾️の女の子。
強くて優しい。そして時に怖い。
ダークな未来の世界で暗躍する「悪い人たち」を、倒して世界を救った。
射撃の名手。(世の男子だけにとどまらず、女子たちの心もきっと撃ち抜いてる)
人には言えない秘密がある。
「ポップンキャロット」というお菓子が好き。
【Eternal Liberator】
週刊少年クロノスで連載された桧本尚氏によるダークSF漫画作品。
最近完結したばかり。
最終巻が来月発売予定。(全28巻)
主な読者層は中高生以上だが、アニメの効果で最近は子供にも人気がある。
過激な表現が多数あるため親御さんはヒヤヒヤしている。
アニメ化もされた人気作品。
来年公開の劇場版がとても楽しみ。

For this solo exhibition, I created a series of works related to a single story.
Each piece has its own theme, but this is the first time I've tried something like this.
I would like to introduce the girl depicted in this picture.

A • • • •girl who appears in the manga "Eternal Liberator" serialized in Weekly Shonen.
She is strong and kind. And she is scary at times.
She saved the world by defeating the "bad people" who were working behind the scenes in the dark future world. she is a good sniper.
She won't just stop at the boys of the world, she'll surely shoot through the hearts of the girls as well.)
She have a secret that I can't tell anyone.
She likes a candy called "pop'n carrot".
[Eternal Liberator]
A dark sci-fi manga by Hisashi Himoto serialized in Weekly Shonen Chronos.
Just completed recently.
The final volume will be released next month. (Total 28 volumes)
The main readership is junior high and high school students, but recently it has become popular among children due to the effects of animation.
Parents are nervous because there are many radical expressions.
A popular work that has also been animated.
I'm really looking forward to the theatrical release next year.

廣瀬祥子(Shoko Hirose)
2018年東京藝術大学 美術学部 絵画科油画専攻卒業。 ゲーム会社のデザイナーを経てアートとイラストの２つの領域で活動をする作家。
「デジタルなもの・物質を伴い存在するものとの境界が曖昧になっている現代だからこそできる絵画へのアプローチ」をコンセプトに、 デジタルで作成したデータを印刷し、その上に描画材を用いて手を加える手法やその他様々な印刷技法をを用いた絵画作品を制作している。
「ひろせ」名義でイラストレーターとしても活動しており、国内外のゲームやライトノベル、「初音ミク」等の人気作品のイラストも手掛けている。

Shoko Hirose
Graduated from Tokyo University of the Arts in 2018, majoring in oil painting. After working as a designer at a game company, I am an artist who works in the two fields of art and illustration.
Based on the concept of ”an approach to painting that can only be possible in this modern era where the boundaries between digital things and physical things are becoming blurred,”
I print digitally created data and then hand-paint it using drawing materials. He creates painting works using a method of adding color and various other printing techniques.
I am also active as an illustrator under the name “Hirose'', and she has also created illustrations for popular works such as domestic and international games, light novels, and “Hatsune Miku.''

私は「A Life Without Reality」をコンセプトに、情報と物質、虚構と現実、その境界が曖昧になった現代の知覚をテーマに制作している。デジタルイメージが現実認識の前提となった現在、私たちは物質として存在するものだけでなく、画面上を流通する画像や記号、仮想空間を通して世界を認識している。本来は実体を持たない情報が現実以上の存在感を獲得する一方、身体や都市、物質もまた画像へと変換され、編集・複製・消費されていく。制作では、デジタル環境で構築したイメージをキャンバスやアクリルへUV出力し、油彩、樹脂、グリッター、鏡面素材、半立体的なレイヤーなどを組み合わせる。均質な情報として存在していた画像に、重力、滲み、厚み、反射といった物質固有の現象を介入させることで、虚構が現実の「物」へと変換される過程を画面上に生じさせている。画面に現れる人物や都市は、固定された物語を表すためのモチーフではない。それらは、身体と記号、記憶とデータ、現実と虚構が同時に存在する現代の知覚を可視化する媒体として配置されている。また、「ひろせ」名義でゲーム、ライトノベル、「初音ミク」関連作品など、国内外の商業イラストレーションも手がけている。流通する視覚イメージを制作する実践と、それを物質として再構成する現代美術の実践を往還しながら、デジタル時代における絵画とイメージの在り方を探究している。現代美術では「廣瀬祥子」、商業イラストレーションでは「ひろせ」の名義を用い、二つの領域で並行して活動する。2018年東京藝術大学美術学部絵画科油画専攻卒業。卒業後はゲーム会社でデザイナーとして勤務し、コンシューマーゲームのキャラクターデザインや3Dモデリングなどの制作に携わる。2019年よりSNSを中心にイラストレーション作品の発表を開始し、2022年よりフリーランスとして活動。「ひろせ」名義では、『プロジェクトセカイ カラフルステージ！ feat. 初音ミク』をはじめとする初音ミク関連作品、『アークナイツ』『アズールレーン』『勝利の女神：NIKKE』『リバース：1999』など、国内外のゲームタイトル、『にじさんじ』所属VTuber関連作品、MVイラスト、ライトノベル関連作品などの商業イラストレーションを手がける。キャラクターイラストを中心に、キャラクターデザイン、衣装デザイン、プロモーションイラスト、MVイラストなど、媒体や企画に応じたビジュアル制作を行っている。https://shokohirose.com/commercial-illustration-works/
