Work Details
The materials for the work are acrylic gouache and canvas. It's not framed, but the sides are painted with acrylic gouache. The signature is written on the back.
There were a few good things, and it was a busy season. I wanted a new location. This is a view of Lake Suwa that I saw around fall last year. The fact that I was drawing the scenery as if I were remembering was a sign of wanting to be positive.
As for my obsession, I select colors in search of essential expression by nurturing the object to be drawn, actually going to see it, and making sketches over and over. I want the world I see to be expressed on the screen through observation.
