Work Details
The materials for the work are acrylic gouache and canvas. It's not framed, but the sides are painted with acrylic gouache. The signature is written on the back.
The March trees had transparent light that didn't make you feel like winter. This work expresses the impression of that light. It also expressed hope that a new season will arrive. The vertical deformed panel expresses a presence close to the trunk of a tree.
As for my obsession, I decide on colors in search of essential expression by nurturing the object to be drawn, actually going to see it, and making sketches over and over. I want the world I see to be expressed on the screen through observation.
