Work Details
The materials for the work are acrylic gouache and canvas. It's not framed, but the sides are painted with acrylic gouache. The signature is written on the back.
The spring sun was shining on the bark of the trees I saw at the end of winter, and I felt so beautiful.
The seasonal sunlight between winter and spring is clear and transparent. I also felt a sense of dynamism in the bark, and I wanted to express the light between winter and spring and the feeling of waiting for spring in color.
As for my obsession, I select colors in search of essential expression by nurturing the object to be drawn, actually going to see it, and making sketches over and over. I want the world I see to be expressed on the screen through observation.
