Work Details
The materials for the work are acrylic gouache and canvas. It's not framed, but the sides are painted with acrylic gouache. The signature is written on the back.
The sight of the birds I keep at my parents' house grooming was beautiful, so I drew it. I wasn't really aware of it, but there is a blue color near the tail that you can't see when you look at it from behind. When I'm grooming, I know this place is beautiful. I was also drawn to how relaxed they were. I wanted to relax my shoulders a little bit and live.
By nurturing the object to be drawn, actually going to see it, and making repeated sketches, I decide on colors in search of essential expression. I want the world I see to be expressed on the screen through observation.
