Using acrylic paint, I create paintings that appeal to the senses, incorporating colors in the process of blending, spontaneous expressions, and intuitive gestures.

The “Mind Record” series is created by painting with my fingertips gently touching those of my childhood self. The “The letter from stars” and “Object” series are characterized by their vibrant use of color and rich textures created with modeling paste.

I also explore multiple styles, including the “Fixed Window” series, which explores the boundaries between people through windows seen from various perspectives.

【Statement】

Sometimes, I have long dreams. Fragments gradually come together, forming a single story.

In the dream, my mother was just as a mother should be. Her face was like that of Kannon, filled with a sense of comfort and reassurance, and she let out a soft, gentle laugh. My father sat opposite me, on the other side, smiling in the same way. I felt relieved, quietly pushing aside the faint sense that something was wrong.

Suddenly, my mother said, “What a beautiful ring.”

I looked down at my hand and found a beautiful ring with a large gemstone on my finger.

For a while, I was captivated by the color of the stone, like a flower just before it withers away completely. Then I realized that it was an imitation. I had never seen a color like it before, and the stone was unnaturally large.

The bright silver band would, in time, slowly lose its plating. Even so, I loved it very much. It had a lovely shape, and above all, the strange stone, like a tiny universe sealed inside, was a beautiful color I had never seen before.

I immediately knew who the ring was from. They knew that I loved imperfect, slightly distorted, cheap little things born of chance—things that could never possess the flawless beauty of perfection.

My mother smiled once more, as if gently peering into my face.
