Work Details
The materials for the work are acrylic gouache and canvas. It's not framed, but the sides are painted with acrylic gouache. The signature is written on the back.
I visited the garden when I went on a trip to Taipei. The world is quiet even though there is natural energy. I was attracted to the appearance that was different from Japanese gardens. Taipei's unique Asian energy is also reflected in the landscape. Also, since I don't travel abroad often, I have a strong feeling that it depicts memories I don't want to forget.
As for my obsession, I select colors in search of essential expression by nurturing the object to be drawn, actually going to see it, and making sketches over and over. I want the world I see to be expressed on the screen through observation.
