Work Details
The materials for the work are acrylic gouache and canvas. It's not framed, but the sides are painted with acrylic gouache. The signature is written on the back.
I felt the warmth of the tree, which was wrapped in bark in the cold. Although it is a continuation of the work “Envelope,” it depicts a different cross section of a tree. I wanted to express the intrinsic beauty of wood in this work. The appearance of rustling, the smell of wood, etc.
As for my obsession, I select colors in search of essential expression by nurturing the object to be drawn, actually going to see it, and making sketches over and over. I want the world I see to be expressed on the screen through observation.
