Work Details
The materials for the work are acrylic gouache and canvas. It's not framed, but the sides are painted with acrylic gouache. The signature is written on the back.
I drew the 50th work. My previous work, No. 6, was about a new theme within me, “The Beauty of Familiar Things,” so I thought I'd draw a bigger sky. Mornings come on any day. It's a landscape I'm attached to. I felt that the sunrise had a different beauty from the sunset, and I felt that it was between before and after the whole city started moving.
As for my obsession, I decide on colors in search of essential expression by nurturing the object to be drawn, actually going to see it, and making sketches over and over. I want the world I see to be expressed on the screen through observation.
