Auguste is an emerging Lithuanian contemporary artist living in Japan. Her inspiration is drawn from her diverse background in music and visual effects, infusing her artwork with innovation while honoring tradition. Drawing upon her Baltic roots and Scandinavian aesthetics, Auguste employs unconventional mediums such as coal, sepia, and chalk, manipulating them in both fluid and textured states that spark inner dialogue.
Auguste's work shows the world that art is a result of a accumulation of rich experiences, making it a never-ending story influenced by each viewer that looks at her paintings.

“Aperture” takes its name from the small opening of a camera lens that controls how much light enters. A narrow circle, yet it holds the vastness of everything we can see before capturing a photo.

how something limited can feel infinite.
How through such a small frame, the entire world is revealed and you realize that there is just so much you dont know yet.
