Work Details
I'm used to hearing the word plum and eagle, and it sounds good. Actually, white-eye leaves come to plum trees, but the word that comes up quickly becomes “plum blossoms.”
“Plum on a plum” is an example of two beautiful, harmonious images that herald the arrival of spring, and it may have been imprinted in the memories of Japanese people since the time of hanafuda.
This work is a white-eye, but when I see white-eye plums that bloom modestly during the chilly season, I'm excited by the “plum blossoms” feeling that I have a premonition that spring will soon arrive.
Plum blossoms are three-dimensional. I would be happy if you could enjoy it from various angles along with the sparkle of the beads.
Oil and metal foil are applied to the canvas, beads and felt are also used, and sewn directly onto the canvas.
size
The size of the canvas itself is a 25 cm diameter circular canvas.
The forehead size is 32 x 32 x 5.4 cm.

I memorize the moment of sparkle that moves my heart in two-dimensional works with oil paintings and beads, etc., and I create and display a single space using all kinds of materials, such as cloth, wood, and beads, which I have been used to since I was a child. I try to create works that are sparkling and exciting, from everyday to extraordinary, without being bound by fixed concepts. Tokyo Dome City AsoBono in 2011!
