Biography
I draw pictures so as to preserve scenes and memories I can't forget or don't want to forget about the lovely things I've met in my life, and leave them as treasures.
Works I've drawn in recent years include the “My New God” series, which depicts arched mirrors lined up in train station toilets in the likeness of an altar, and the “Ghost” series, which depicts the appearance of cherry blossom ghosts. Also, “Farewell Flower,” which depicts the appearance of artificial flowers seen at an amusement park that is closing, has also been drawn repeatedly.
