Work Details
A little over a year ago, I moved to room 205 where I had lived for 4 years.
This is the room I've lived in the longest since I started living alone.
Since I moved and it's in the past, I finally thought I'd draw that room,
I moved and went to a new city, so I was able to draw really new pictures.

I draw pictures so as to preserve scenes and memories I don't want to forget about the lovely things I've met in my life and leave them as treasures. The arched mirrors lining the toilet looked like an altar. It is a vacant lot in the neighborhood where yellow flowers continue to bloom. These are white, star-like flowers I saw on a spring night. We may all forget it someday, but those lovely things certainly existed at that time. I keep making promises to them that I won't forget.
