More sky

The materials for the work are acrylic gouache and canvas. It's not framed, but the sides are painted with acrylic gouache. The signature is written on the back.

This work depicts how the lake's sunset changes. Somewhere the sunset is enveloped in a strange feeling. It causes the feeling of being “wrapped” in the changing landscape of the lake, which borders with the sky of a size not found in the city. I drew this work because I wanted to express that feeling on a canvas large enough to be bathed in color.

As for my obsession, I select colors in search of essential expression by nurturing the object to be drawn, actually going to see it, and making sketches over and over again. I want the truth of the world I see and the objects I draw to be expressed on the screen through observation.
