Work Details
作品の素材は、アクリルガッシュとキャンバスです。額付きではありませんが、側面をアクリルガッシュで塗っています。サインは背面に記入しています。
九州地方を旅した時にこの風景に出会いました。私が住んでいる場所とはほど遠いこの地で労働者である私は「労働者の風景」を感じたのです。毎日の通勤の風景とは違うけれど同じ匂いを感じ、自分自身の感情も反映させた作品です。
こだわりについては、対象に触れてスケッチを重ねることで、本質的な表現を求めて色彩を決めています。色面を大きく見せることで飾る空間がおおらかで華やかになることを大切にしています。
