Work Details
The materials for the work are acrylic gouache and canvas. It's not framed, but the sides are painted with acrylic gouache. The signature is written on the back.
I wanted to paint my work with familiar landscapes. The pond at Inokashira Park was a beautiful, familiar, and affectionate landscape. The pond in the evening is a familiar sight I often see.
As for my obsession, I select colors in search of essential expression by nurturing the object to be drawn, actually going to see it, and making sketches over and over. I want the world I see to be expressed on the screen through observation.
