Work Details
The materials for the work are acrylic gouache and canvas. It's not framed, but the sides are painted with acrylic gouache. The signature is written on the back.
I drew an open landscape of a nearby park. The midsummer sky and the earth overlapped and were shining brightly. I drew it because I wanted to express “freedom.” The open landscape gives me the freedom to go anywhere.
As for my obsession, I select colors in search of essential expression by nurturing the object to be drawn, actually going to see it, and making sketches over and over. I want the world I see to be expressed on the screen through observation.
