Work Details
The materials for the work are acrylic gouache and canvas. It's not framed, but the sides are painted with acrylic gouache. The signature is written on the back.
I drew Betta that I own. Betta moves very gracefully when changing direction. I associate this movement with something like a “turning point.” The beauty of this light shape was also expressed. I wanted the beautiful moments in the painting to stay alive.
As for my obsession, I decide on colors in search of essential expression by nurturing the object to be drawn, actually going to see it, and making sketches over and over. I want the truth of the world I see and the objects I draw to be expressed on the screen through observation.
