Work Details
作品の素材は、アクリルガッシュとキャンバスです。額付きではありませんが、側面をアクリルガッシュで塗っています。サインは背面に記入しています。
バラを育てながら描いていると、様々な方向に向いて育ちますが、まれに立つように咲いていることがあります。その姿を見ていると光や影のバランスの美しさに輝きを感じます。そんな女性の姿を思い浮かべながら投影した作品です。
こだわりについては、バラを育て対象に触れてスケッチを重ねることで、本質的な表現を求めて色彩を決めています。色面を大きく見せることで飾る空間がおおらかで華やかになることを大切にしています。
