Work Details
This work was drawn with moonstone on a black paper file. In the same way as drawing with chalk on a black blackboard, it is drawn by cutting a moonstone and adhering white to a paper file. The full moon's light has been replaced by moonstone particles. The moonstone (gemstone) used for drawing is also displayed at the bottom of the screen.
(This work is hard to remove dust and dirt because the ground is paper files. (For long-term exhibitions, we recommend putting it in an acrylic case in a form containing a stone)
Exhibited at a group exhibition in January 2021 at the gallery “Naufu Gendai” in Gifu City
Moonstone was formed as a mineral during Earth's long history. The two stars, the Moon and the Earth, are here now after a long history.
The flowing clouds and trees are changing their appearance moment by moment. I don't know everything is going to stay. However, the Moon, which is constantly waning, and the Earth where we live have been in space for a very long time.
By drawing the full moon and what it illuminates with moonstone, I thought about the smallest and greatest amount of time.
Draw with stones on sandpaper: Draw a landscape with stones on black sandpaper.
Similar to writing with chalk on a blackboard, it is drawn using a stone that can be scraped and black sandpaper lines can be drawn.

All things and things shape the present. In that moment, we never met again. Moments ahead of the present is the future, and everything in the present shapes the future ahead. No entity can spill out of it.
