Work Details
The materials for the work are acrylic gouache and canvas. It's not framed, but the sides are painted with acrylic gouache. The signature is written on the back.
It's a work depicting a path I always go through. I drew a winter scene approaching spring. There is a shadow in the foreground and a light beyond. It's an image of Sunday where bright things await even in the shadows now.
As for my obsession, I select colors in search of essential expression by nurturing the object to be drawn, actually going to see it, and making sketches over and over. I want the world I see to be expressed on the screen through observation.
