Work Details
The materials for the work are acrylic gouache and canvas. It's not framed, but the sides are painted with acrylic gouache. The signature is written on the back.
This work depicts the path of a hiking course in the Nagabuchi Hills. This is a scene of a hot afternoon in mid-September. The rhythm of the trees and the way the light enters was beautifully drawn. Also, the color of the sky was leaking out of the trees as light, which also made me feel like it was autumn somewhere.
As for my obsession, I decide on colors in search of essential expression by nurturing the object to be drawn, actually going to see it, and making sketches over and over. I want the world I see to be expressed on the screen through observation.
