A lamp work that sparkles in the dark, inspired by the ecology of whales.

Whales swim leisurely in the vast ocean and travel to various places.

That epic journey eventually comes to a quiet end.

The whale's body, which has lost consciousness, sinks to the bottom of the deep sea, and gradually becomes food for other living creatures.

Then, the last bone left behind becomes a home for small creatures on the seabed, and a community like a small town is formed.

These communities continue to be built somewhere under the sea even now.

This lamp is based on the theme of “harmony,” which is created when large beings and small beings coexist.

In modern society, things are simplified and often talked about as confrontational structures, and I am dreaming of breaking away from such conflicts.

This work embodies such dreams.

The lamp design is based on the image of a secret home where a small voice lurks.

The main body is spelled out by carefully layering sheets of watercolor paper one by one, and the bird carvings are carved out by hand one by one.

In a fantastic landscape where light and shadow interweave, the story of whales and their symbionts comes to light.

This lamp, which gently sparkles in the dark, quietly talks to the viewer about the beauty of symbiosis between big beings and small beings, and the importance of harmony.
