HAKONIWA

顔を3Dスキャンすることによって自身がアバターとなってその場で仮想空間に入り込み、動かすことのできるテクノロジー・アート。クラシックなゲームコントローラを使ってアバターを観察したりいたずらしたりと、ユーモアあるバーチャル世界を体験することができる。

ゲームのようなストーリー性や起承転結はなく、ただひたすらアバターが動き回る。リアルの自分がバーチャルの世界に入り込む仕組みは、ゲームとアートの境界にも言及し、2014年発表当時、多くの人に驚かれた。

Since it was founded in 2004 as a team that produces 3DCG images and video games, they have utilized their know-how to create art and prototype new businesses while focusing on the entertainment field. In recent years, he has created digital art along with video and game production, and participated in overseas exhibitions. The work was introduced at the “Japan-Africa Forum” hosted by the Japanese government and the NHK “Sunday Art Scene”. Since 2016, they will explore the possibility that art and technology intersect, such as carrying out joint projects every year in an internship program with Stanford University.
