Work Details
古代魚・シーラカンスが雄大にモニター内を泳ぎ回っている。リアルタイムで描画されており、《麹町勝覧》同様、同じシーンが表れることはない。魚がゆっくり近づいてきてぶつかりそうになるかと思えば遠ざかっていくその様は、人間の叡智が自然界に及ばないことを示唆している。
画面は液晶ではなく、深みのある黒や高いコントラスト表現が得意である有機ELを使用。それによって暗部の部分が立体的になり、深海の深度がより表現されている。また、視野角が広いため、斜めからでも美しく見え、吸い込まれるような映像美となっている。

Since it was founded in 2004 as a team that produces 3DCG images and video games, they have utilized their know-how to create art and prototype new businesses while focusing on the entertainment field.
In recent years, he has created digital art along with video and game production, and participated in overseas exhibitions. The work was introduced at the “Japan-Africa Forum” hosted by the Japanese government and the NHK “Sunday Art Scene”. Since 2016, they will explore the possibility that art and technology intersect, such as carrying out joint projects every year in an internship program with Stanford University.
