Work Details
A beast of light that runs through an endless blue horizon.
This figure symbolizes the “prayer” and “rhythm of life” within us while drifting on the boundary between reality and fantasy.
In this work, the sky and the earth, the tension between existence and memory are depicted as layers of a sense called “blue.”
Due to brushstrokes tinged with light, shaped objects gradually melt and assimilate into the world like a single breath.
“kemonography (chemography)” in my creations
It is also an act of drawing traces of an invisible world through living creatures and nature.
This work was created as a “record of existence” which is an extension of that.

Artist
Kemono Painter (kemono graphy)
There are mysterious powers in nature. They seem to be visible and invisible, and their existence is unstable, and I feel them and visualize them through my work
I'm trying it out.
The theme of my work is the world of nature, mythology, and the invisible senses.
Patterns and colors that emerge when looking at living things from a unique viewpoint — these are named “kemonography (chemography)” and recorded.
Produced at the atelier and gallery “Kemono” in Senmaya, Iwate Prefecture.
Through exhibitions and exhibiting at events, I depict the harmony between fantasy and reality.
