Work Details

Even if we don't see it in our eyes, there are times when we think something is important, face it over a long period of time, and think that something beyond our senses dwells beyond our senses.

I don't know if it's a creature, a spirit, or something else. However, there is certainly only a sign left there, and I feel that they are quietly holding something and continuing to protect it.

This work depicts an entity that cannot be named. It is a form that appears at the boundary where something invisible takes shape.

Kemono Painter (kemono graphy)

There are mysterious powers in nature. They seem to be visible and invisible, and their existence is unstable, and I feel them and visualize them through my work
I'm trying it out.
The theme of my work is the world of nature, mythology, and the invisible senses.
Patterns and colors that emerge when looking at living things from a unique viewpoint — these are named “kemonography (chemography)” and recorded.

Produced at the atelier and gallery “Kemono” in Senmaya, Iwate Prefecture.
Through exhibitions and exhibiting at events, I depict the harmony between fantasy and reality.
