わたしは「風景から色を抽出する」という一点にだけフォーカスした、極限まで抽象化された「風景画」を描きます。それは、ITの発達した現代社会における風景の見方に対する問題提起であり、リアルとアブストラクト・アナログとデジタルの境界線を行き来しながら、誰でも簡単に記録・閲覧することができるようになった「風景」の本質に気づくきっかけとしての作品を目指します。

I paint extremely abstracted ‘landscape painting', focusing only on the single point of ‘extracting colour from the landscape’. This is a work that raises questions about the way we view landscapes in today's IT-enabled society, and aims to provide an opportunity to realise the essence of ‘landscapes’, which can now be easily recorded and viewed by anyone, while moving between the boundaries of real and abstract, analogue and digital.
