“sanwacompany Art Award / Art in The House 2024” 受賞者展

わたしは「風景のなかから色を抜き出す」という一点にだけフォーカスした、極限まで抽象化された「風景画」を描いています。それは、ITの発達した現代社会における風景の見方に対する問題提起であり、リアルとアブストラクト・アナログとデジタルの境界線を行き来しながら、誰でも簡単に記録・閲覧することができるようになった「風景」の本質に気づくきっかけとしての作品を目指した制作です。

このアワードには、より良いライフスタイル「アートのあるくらし」を提案する作品展示プランを公募する、とありました。何気ない日常のなかから色を抽出し意識を向けることで、そこにあるARTや美しさに気づけることの大切さ。ARTと日常がひとつづきであることを目指したい、わたしの制作コンセプトを柱に提案しました。

ミニマルかつ思考的な「風景」を生活のなかへ持ち込むとき、日常に思いもよらない癒しやハッとする瞬間、それを囲む家族や仲間の間にコミュニケーションを呼ぶことができると考えています。日常とひとつづきの場所にアートがある世の中を願って。

I paint extremely abstract 'landscapes', focusing only on the single point of 'extracting colour from the landscape'. This is work that raises questions about the way we view landscapes in today's IT-enabled society, and aims to provide an opportunity to realise the essence of 'landscapes' that can now be easily recorded and viewed by anyone, while moving between the boundaries of real and abstract, analogue and digital.

This award called for exhibition plans that proposed a better lifestyle 'life with art'. I proposed my creative concept as a pillar of my work, which aims to unite ART and everyday life.

We believe that bringing minimalist and thought-provoking 'landscapes' into our everyday lives can bring unexpected healing and a moment of inspiration into our daily lives, as well as communication between family members and friends around them. I want a world where art is part of everyday life.
