Work Details
The concept of the work “The boundary between the real and the unreal world”
What I wanted to express in this work
Love and emotion in sadness.
Thoughts put into the work and title
The mechanical bride reflected in a puddle symbolizes the boundary between real and unreal worlds.
The place called ruins represents a place that used to be full of life, but now it has completely decayed.
Among them, the bride of the machine stands quietly, and her appearance emphasizes the fragility and sadness.
The appeal of this work is past and future, reality and fantasy,
Also, it makes me feel the intersection between machines and humanity.
The mechanical bride is a machine, yet her posture and silhouette have a human touch.
Her facial expressions and appearance include the human warmth she shows from time to time,
You can see a fusion with mechanical parts that make you feel somewhat cold.
The visual effect called reflection is also an important element of the work.
The figure reflected in the puddle appears to have an entity, but the shape changes depending on the fluctuation of the water,
It suggests that it will eventually disappear.
This ephemerality imparts a deep sense of sorrow and sorrow throughout the work.
“The Bride of Machine Mechanics” is about the flow of time, change, and loss through the backdrop of ruins.
As an entity living between the past and the future, she symbolizes both loneliness and hope.
Please read it when considering purchasing.
