Work Details
boundary (boundary)
The scenery you look at from a distance becomes an object when you look closely at it.
What you can understand when you stare at it in the palm of your hand becomes incomprehensible when you gather and stare at it.
People use words and set boundaries for every object of recognition.
A large collection of water and salt becomes an ocean, the movement of the waves becomes sound, and the gathering becomes a landscape... and a line is drawn to separate each one.
However, just as the Earth is viewed from space, there is no border anywhere, so the world before humans appeared was mixed and there were no boundaries.
Thinking about that, it is only by removing all boundaries between others and taking a bird's-eye view that it is possible to grasp things in a flat manner.
This photo group was taken using a camera that stops and fixes when invented by humans, and a macro lens that visualizes elements constituting physically existing objects.
It is a “hybrid” rather than a contrast between micro and macro.
In the process of looking at the two photographs and concentrating your gaze from macro to micro, I want you to imagine averaging the world without discrimination without creating boundaries on recognizable events.
