Deguchi Shinya Photo Office transcends national and cultural boundaries,
It focuses on creating empathy and understanding through photography and digital art.

I have lived as a normal office worker until now, but due to the onset of depression due to marriage and work,
I felt doubtful and bored of following the same path, values, and rails as others, and wanted to go on an adventure in a blank world where nothing was drawn like when I was a kid.

What motivated me to work on digital art
This is because I want to interweave my world with photographs, complete it as a single work, and release it to the world.
Its driving force is power.
“The power of the subject emitted from the photograph,” which is the core of production, is essential.

Anyone can simply take a picture and output that photo if they have acquired the skills. However, the world I imagine can only be expressed by myself.
Also, we only live once in a human life, and if we have an opportunity to express ourselves right in front of us, I think we should always do it.
Through my work, I work to sublimate those thoughts, feelings, and thoughts as much as possible.

What I want to convey through my work is that people with different backgrounds sympathize with through works that interweave all kinds of emotions, such as beautiful things, joy, challenge, and sorrow,
We're focusing on connecting people. The group of works I create is a world where diversity coexists, and sometimes I depict extreme worldviews.
Even the person making it has no idea what kind of thing will be completed in the end.

The true explanation lies in the minds of everyone who sees the work.



[At the time of production]
In digital art production, our office makes full use of digital synthesis and processing technology using PCs that I have acquired as a photographer until now.
The image generation AI that has become a hot topic in recent years is not used at all.
I believe that using image generation AI means losing against myself.
There are no notable techniques worth mentioning, but I don't think the degree of perfection of the work will be affected by these differences.

The work of our office clearly reflects the life experiences and values of Shinya Deguchi, who is the representative.
I am particularly interested in human psychology, and I incorporate them into my work.
