“Massive secret energy is called wind...” Zhuangzi/Saimonori Seisen is a work that explores today's landscape paintings by capturing this passage as “nature alone has an essence to be learned,” sketching limestone caves and stalactites that can be said to be the body of the earth, and researching “Sun Moon Mountain Water Map Byobu” (Amanosan Kongoji Temple Collection) and “Sanin Dōzumaki” (written by Wu Bin). Limestone caves and stalactites are limestone composed of the remains of many organisms from 350 million years ago, scraped away by wind and rain, and born underground. The inside of the cave, which can be said to be the body of the earth, is like a place of condensed transformation between life and death, and it is a dynamism of life interwoven forever. The expression of the stalactite called the Golden Pillar, which was formed over millions of years, is like a spine or organ, and the sound of the wind like fetal movements in the cave and the humidity feel a figurative purple color with the human body.
