Concept and Intention of the Artwork

Trees are portraits of time.

The intricate patterns carved into their trunks evoke torrents, rising smoke, or even flesh, revealing the accumulated memory of life and the earth itself. Beneath their stillness lies an immense record of growth, transformation, and duration.

This work is a portrait of a tree, a portrait of the earth, a portrait of time, and ultimately, a portrait of ourselves.
