Work Details
Concept and production of the work My production began with the act of trying to digest complex feelings such as longing for fashion and feelings of inferiority by moving my hands.
In No. 0054, yarn and cloth are layered with tufting, embroidery, knitting, and sewing, and combined with a structure made of board and wire mesh. The material that began as a flat surface is thick, and as thread and cloth overflow from the outline, we are searching for gaps between flat and three-dimensional objects, clothing, and the body.

“KAIKA TOKYO AWARD 2026” selected works
It is produced by combining yarn typing, hand embroidery, knitting, and sewing with a tufting gun. Multiple parts made from yarn and cloth are fixed while being stacked on a support made of board and wire mesh, and a shape that changes depending on the thickness they rise from the wall surface and the angle at which they are viewed.

Artist
Contemporary Artist / Textile Artist
A contemporary artist who learned how to make clothes at Bunka Fashion College and began creating works in 2022.Using her admiration for fashion and her complexes as a starting point, while accumulating her own experiences of trying to connect with society through fashion, she is exploring the gap created between the rational structure of clothing and deformation due to manual work.Produced by combining tufting, embroidery, knitting, and sewing using yarn, cloth, and clothing as materials. In recent years, they have been developing works that go back and forth between clothing and body, plane and three-dimensional by cutting out T-shirts and jackets and sewing together lumps of yarn.
