■Work description/work description
It is a semi-three-dimensional work in which a total of 2 acrylic plates, a transparent acrylic plate and a mirror-processed acrylic plate, are inserted into a thick frame.
Both front and back are printed on the acrylic plate on the surface, and on the mirrored acrylic plate underneath, so it has a 3-layer structure.
In order to create this work, I was asked to think about it from a structural point of view and custom-create it from a picture frame.
The surface of the work has been painted with paint and UV resin, so I would be happy if you could take a look at this Matière expression as well.

■Story/Story of the work
“I love this place full of unreality.
A round pedestrian bridge, afterimages of neon lights, and a large building full of sci-fi feel.
It's like a world where “that girl” lives.
But this is definitely a real place.
This world is full of unreasonableness that pierces my heart and continues to cause pain.
The world you saved is a world where there are no “bad people.”
A wonderful world.
Everyone is living hard under a big pledge based on their own principles of action.
Regarding sleep, I wish I was in the world you are in when I wake up.”

Amazing world.
Everyone lives their lives with great commitment based on their own principles of action.
I fall asleep and when I wake up I wish I was in your world

Graduated from Tokyo University of the Arts, Faculty of Fine Arts, majoring in oil painting in 2018.
After working as a designer for a game company, the artist works in the two fields of art and illustration.
Based on the concept of “an approach to painting that can only be done in modern times where the boundary between digital things and things that exist is blurred,” they print digitally created data and create painting works using methods of modifying it using drawing materials and various other printing techniques.
He is also active as an illustrator under the name “Hirose,” and has also worked on illustrations for domestic and international games, light novels, and popular works such as “Hatsune Miku.”

Selected from Tokyo University of the Arts, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Painting, Oil Painting.
Work in two areas: art and illustration.
I create artworks using a technique of printing digitally created data and then adding my hands to it using drawing materials.
I am also active as an illustrator under a different name, “Hirose,” and have created suggestions for games, light scenes, and popular contents such as “Hatsune Miku” in Japan and abroad.

Contemporary Artist / IllustratorTokyo-based contemporary artist and illustrator.Graduated from Tokyo University of the Arts in 2018, majoring in Oil Painting. After working as a designer in the video game industry, Hirose now develops her practice across both contemporary art and commercial illustration.Hirose’s work explores contemporary perception in which the boundaries between information and materiality, fiction and reality have become increasingly ambiguous. By combining digital imagery with oil paint, resin, reflective materials, and semi-sculptural layered structures, she examines how images acquire physical presence and how material objects are transformed into information.Under the name Hirose, she is also active as a commercial illustrator, producing work for video games, publishing, music, Hatsune Miku-related projects, and other forms of visual media.Alongside her contemporary art practice as Shoko Hirose, she works in the field of commercial illustration under the name Hirose, developing the two practices in parallel.Hirose graduated from the Oil Painting Department, Faculty of Fine Arts, Tokyo University of the Arts in 2018.
