Work Details
《DRIFT》は、海岸に流れ着いた陶片と海上輸送コンテナを重ねた作品シリーズです。砂浜に落ちている陶片をリュックサックに背負いきれなくなるまで拾い集めて帰るということを、2015年ごろから継続的に行って来ました。海へ向かうまでの道中で見かけるコンテナの山は、この場所が外からの影響に晒されていることを示唆しています。
越境や交流が制限される中で、日常や過去の時間の断片を積み重ねながら、自身がいる現在地の在り方や成り立ちについて考えます。
