"Left Ear"
Words do not always reach someone simply by being thrown.
Sometimes, the whole body has to move closer to the other person’s ear.
In this work, the glove worn on the left hand is imagined as the “left ear,” while the ball held in the mouth becomes “words.” By removing the act of throwing from a game of catch, what remains between the two bodies is the awkwardness of closing the distance, waiting, and receiving.
This is also how dialogue with my father has felt after a long silence.
