Artwork concept: A work created for a peace project. Faces that changes its expression depending on the angle, represents a person's inner world
Production method: Wild cherry tree is used, and natural cracks enhance their individuality. The finish is handwiped natural lacquer in pursuit of realistic colors.

Born in 1975 in Kyoto. Currently reside in Yame, Fukuoka. I work as an artisan for an important intangible cultural property of the country. Although I am mainly a traditional craftsman,my goal is to be in a world of art. I work as a sculptor, karakurist, dyer, and artist, and also restores arts and crafts and cultural properties by making full use of techniques such as maki-e, spiraling, and inlay. I have also received many awards overseas as a professional photographer.
