Work Details
The work is based on the moment nature is born from nature. A new life dwells in the thinned timber of wild cherry tree, and the life of a dragon, which is also an object of natural worship, dwelt there. And a dragon awakens in naturally cracked cherry blossoms with natural tree lacquer in its skin, with animals' fangs and horns as a part of it's life. It is about to be born.
Carving with a single knife, colored with lacquer on wild mountain cherry tree
Commitment: Breathing new life by reusing all familiar natural materials
