コンセプトは新しい「祈り」と「愛でる」の形と融合。
仏師の顔も持つ匠の手から生まれたのは、約10cm四方の箱の中に鎮座する“たまごさま”。 地元九州産の水目桜や山桜を用い、仏壇産業が盛んな福岡県八女市の職人の技術が形にした。福岡県の伝統工芸の再発展を願う匠の思いが、その穏やかなアルカイックスマイルに込められている。

1975年京都府生まれ。
現在福岡県八女市で工房、Atelier66を構える。銀座松屋、京都ハイアットリージェンシーホテルなどで個展を行う。からくり人形師の傍ら、仏師、極彩美術工芸家、翻訳家、スポーツジャーナリストとしても活動。世界最小のテディーベアー(0.8mm)のギネス記録を保持する。Carver's comp準グランプリなど多数受賞。

Born in 1975 in Kyoto. Currently reside in Yame, Fukuoka. I work as an artisan for an important intangible cultural property of the country. Although I am mainly a traditional craftsman,my goal is to be in a world of art. I work as a sculptor, karakurist, dyer, and artist, and also restores arts and crafts and cultural properties by making full use of techniques such as maki-e, spiraling, and inlay. I have also received many awards overseas as a professional photographer.
