The concept of the work: “What does peace mean to you?” A photo piece for a peace project to question to the world through art. Santa, who brings presents to children, sings songs on the street to earn small money to live that day. The problem of poverty is also a problem for society as a whole.

Born in 1975 in Kyoto. Currently reside in Yame, Fukuoka. I work as an artisan for an important intangible cultural property of the country. Although I am mainly a traditional craftsman,my goal is to be in a world of art. I work as a sculptor, karakurist, dyer, and artist, and also restores arts and crafts and cultural properties by making full use of techniques such as maki-e, spiraling, and inlay. I have also received many awards overseas as a professional photographer.
