ルーペのレンズ表面に、アルファベットの「I」をスタンプした。この文字は、離れた位置から眺めると明確に視認できるが、ルーペ本来の機能である「覗く」行為を通して対象を見ようとすると、焦点が合わず消失する。「見る」ために近づくほどに、「I（私／対象）」が見えなくなるという、視覚と距離、そして認識のパラドックスを示している。
