Work Details
石は外部から彫ることでしかそのフォルムを決定づけることができない。 その点を意識的に見せるために、鑿彫りで臓器内部にも似た有機的な面をつくった。 空間と作品との「境域」は、常にせめぎ合い、視線の片隅で常に動き続けている。
「人は中身が肝心」と言うけれど、肝心の「中身」は目には見えない。一面を切り取ってすべてを語れるほど単純なのだろうか。石という素材と人が交差する。
