Street Vendor

生きた鶏を売る行商人をリアルに表現した作品。大都市には昔から存在しないが、生きた動物の行商人は今日でもブラジルの田舎や僻地、ときには都市の周辺部で見かける。

The work realistically presents a street vendor that trades live birds. A tradition absent in the large urban centers, the street vendor of live animals may still be found in Brazil’s countryside, in the farthest regions and, some times, in the capitals’ outskirts.

A obra apresenta de maneira realista um vendedor ambulante que comercia aves vivas. Tradição ausente dos grandes centros urbanos, o vendedor ambulante de animais vivos ainda pode ser encontrado no interior do Brasil, nas regiões mais distantes e, algumas vezes, nas periferias das capitais.
