私たちは神代より見えざるモノの気配を畏れ、崇めてきました。
現代では科学技術の発達により、見えざるモノは見えるモノとなり、自然への畏れも薄らいできたように思います。では、その畏れからプログラムされた物の怪、妖怪も隠れキャラとなってしまったのでしょうか。いいえ、決してそのようなことはなく、現代でも妖怪は次々とコンパイルされています。
私たちは見えざるモノを見えるモノとする科学技術によって新しい妖怪を創り出しています。
私たちは豊かな生活と引き換えに、かつて見えていたモノが見えなくなってしまいました。隣人との挨拶すらない都市生活では、自身の感情をインターネットに載せるのみです。私たちの正しい感情も間違った感情も通信のみが送受信する現代、膨れ上がった情報の私たちはかつて見えざるモノであった仮想の時空間に蠢いています。私たちは私たちを見えざるモノの気配としてしまったのです。
新しい妖怪とは、この現実ステージから隠れキャラとなってしまった私たち人間なのではないでしょうか。
私たちは「現代の妖怪」として何処へ夜行するのでしょうか。プレイヤーとしてでしょうか、ノンプレイヤーとしてでしょうか。私たちがゲームマスターを覗くならば、ゲームマスターもまた等しく私たちを見返すのでしょうか。ならば、私はその夜明けにある未来のレトロゲームに少しでも美しいドットを打ちたいと思います。

With the theme of overlap between real and virtual called "Street, Ethernet, Field", he creates art that transforms into social records, by alternating personal memories with stories and myths.
