Work Details
わたしたちが日々の生活において発する言葉は、この世界を巡り巡ってだれかの生活に届き、だれかの未来を少しずつ変えていく。インターネットに散らばるだれかの言葉もまた、わたしたちの未来を少しずつ変えていく。永遠に感情は周回するのだから。
わたしたちは海をみて想う。遠い土地のこと、遠い過去のこと。わたしたちはインターネットをみて想う。近い友達のこと、近い未来のこと。
人工知能は人間よりも人間らしくなり、仮想情報は現実よりも現実らしくなる。いずれ、わたしたちは世界がプログラムだったことに気づくだろう。自然がデータだったことに気づくだろう。その時、わたしたちに感情は周回するのだろうか？
わたしたちは喜べるだろうか？わたしたちは哀しめるだろうか？
わたしたちが人間として生活した日から、わたしたちの世界が終わる日へ、だれかに光の手紙を綴ろう。

Yoshinori Tanaka is contemporary artist based in Tokyo and Kyoto, Japan. With the theme of overlap between real and virtual called "Street, Ethernet, Field", he creates art that transforms into social records, by alternating personal memories with stories and myths.
