めまぐるしく過ぎていく現代社会、消費の影で大量に廃棄されるプラスチック製品。私はこの廃プラスチックに現代の暗さを感じています。
この暗さを、光、安らぎに変えられれば、日々の生活を少しは緩やかに、軽やかにしていけないだろうかと考えます。
高度情報化の波でインターネットに接することは自然で、仕事においてもキーボードに接することは日常です。
しかし、このどこか冷たい印象のあるツールに暖かい印象を加えて、私たちの社会が、インターネットが、もう少しだけ優しい世界に変わっていくことを望みます。
ほんの少しの視点の変化が、より良い豊かな明日への光の波につながると信じて「今日」を消灯します。

Yoshinori Tanaka is contemporary artist based in Tokyo and Kyoto, Japan. With the theme of overlap between real and virtual called "Street, Ethernet, Field", he creates art that transforms into social records, by alternating personal memories with stories and myths.
