Work Details
Introverted Chameleon
Is a series of tables with contrasting surfaces; a simple and elegant shell and mirror inside. Outside is quiet and static but inside is loud and dynamic.
It features a reflective surface inside of the tilted tube, which creates distorted and quirky reflection of the floor. It adapts and harmonizes to its circumstance GENTLY as an introverted chameleon might do.
It acts as a table but also as an aperture that leads you to the wonderland in your daily life.

Artist
Design Studio
Born in 1983. Based in Seoul, Korea. Founded by EJ Pak, Studio EJ is Seoul based design studio since 2013. She studied furniture design in Hongik University for her bachelor and interior architecture in Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) for her master degree. With several years of working experience for architectural firms, she started her practice focusing on experimental and conceptual projects in a wide range of fields from small objects to space design. Her approach to design is to create a special and unique experience taking a fresh perspective on the mundane.
