Work Details
This is a sculptural work themed around the blessings brought by the passage of time. Like soil carried by rain and wind, gradually accumulating and giving rise to new life, it embodies the image of hope growing toward the future.

Artist
Sculptor
Using traditional craft techniques, I create three-dimensional works in concrete and metal. Inspired by the landscapes I grew up in, I'm drawn to the contrast and harmony between natural and man-made elements. Through form and color I seek to transform the hard, cold image of concrete into something softer and full of life. I grew up in Tama New Town (Tokyo), a unique area where the beautiful ridgelines sculpted by nature coexist with the rigid vertical and horizontal lines of inorganic concrete structures—symbols of rapid urbanization. This environment, rich with striking contrasts and harmonies between disparate elements, has become the foundation of my artistic expression, inspiring me to create sculptural works. My practice focuses on placing my works in various spaces, such as residences and facilities, where they interact with their surroundings. These installations aim to resonate with and expand the existing environment, offering it new value and meaning. 1996 Born in Tokyo, Japan 2018 BA in Industrial, Interior and Craft Design (Metalwork), Musashino Art University 2020 MA in Industrial, Interior and Craft Design (Metalwork), Musashino Art University 2020 Established a studio in suburban Tokyo Artwork installation Parkwood Hotels Furano Co., Ltd. “NOZO HOTEL”/Hokkaido Medical Corporation Kayaseikai Uchiyama Clinic/Kanagawa T.K-BLOCKS CO., LTD.
